Christmas Candlelight Service: Wednesday, December 21, 7:30pm
The Board of Directors are thrilled to be welcoming the Mosleys to our community and to partnering with them to bring forth God’s divine plan for Unity of Vancouver.Glenn and Martha will continue the very popular Unity of Vancouver tradition of theChristmas Candle Lighting Service, which is based on the metaphysical interpretation of the Christmas story. This service will be held onWednesday December 21st at 7:30 pm, at Unity of Vancouver. As leaders in the Unity movement, Glenn and Martha have promoted the global growth of New Thought spirituality based on peace, positivity, non-dogmatic Christian mysticism, and metaphysics.Their focus on inter-faith inclusivity brings a refreshing perspective that transcends the more dogmatic paths of many organized religions and encourages the much-needed debate required to ensure that spirituality remains relevant in the 21st century.
If you were not able to experience the Mosley’s in action at their “Healing Hover Touch” workshop, or their September 11th service with us, you can hear a podcast of their service by clicking here. |
Special Service & Potluck Welcome- Sunday, December 4th, 2011
The Transformation Team invites you to join us on
Sunday, December 4, 2011
11:00 am
for a special day designed to honour the journey we have walked together over this past year and a half and to welcome our new ministers Glenn and Martha Mosley.
The Special Sunday service will be led by the Transformation Team and include a ritual to honour our journey and release anything that no longer serves so we can now enter into a positive, co-creative relationship with our new minsters.
We will also introduce our new minsters,
the Reverends Glenn and Martha Mosley!
At the Potluck Luncheon* after the service we will decorate a Christmas tree with our hopes and dreams for the future of Unity of Vancouver.
Our community art project will be revealed in our art gallery and there will be an opportunity to add to it if you have not already contributed a piece.
*Please sign up at the desk or email Randa if you can contribute something to the potluck.
